Mission Statement
Serving the children of the world by working to improve the lives of children and families in Central Ohio.
Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Columbus!
What if you could join a service organization that works to improve the future of children around the world . . . so that you could serve the children here in your own community and ensure they have better lives?
For example, you could make a difference for children struggling with reading by working with us to support the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Summer Reading Program.
And that’s not all. You’ll be joining a remarkable group of business people and big-hearted individuals from around Columbus who:
- provide hot meals for unhoused and working poor individuals and families once a month through Manna Café at Broad Street United Methodist Church,
- build furniture with The Furniture Bank of Central Ohio to furnish/fill an immigrant family’s or a formerly unhoused person’s new home within the week,
- or work to reduce the rate of infant mortality by supporting children in their first years of life with the Community Development for All People on the South Side of Columbus.
We are the Kiwanis Club of Columbus! Join us as we serve!
TOGETHER WE BUILD – Friendships, Future Leaders, Our Children, Our Community, Ourselves.
Join us! TOGETHER WE BUILD!
Yours in Kiwanis,
Lynn E. Coons, President 2023-2024
Our Club meets weekly, hearing from speakers with insights into issues affecting our community. We conduct hands-on service projects and support partners in the local philanthropic community, all while having fun and building relationships.
