Summertime great for recruiting new members

Not only are the summer months a great time for outdoor activities, picnics and a wide variety of social events where you may come into contact with friends and be introduced to new people, it is a great time (well, it’s always a great time) to talk about Kiwanis. With our 2016-17 administrative year entering its final quarter, our declining monthly dues schedule favors new members joining at a reduced fee. Of course the full annual dues for the next administrative year will be expected to be paid by September 30, so the effect is shortlived, but none-the-less, joining now gives a new member a decided advantage.

So, the next neighborhood barbecue you attend, the next company outing, the next church event or family get-together, be sure to be ready to talk about Kiwanis. Simply share the reason you joined and ask one or two people to come visit us at a Monday luncheon to find out more and to meet some really great people
